Accommodation Terms and Conditions
Shinano Omachi is a mountain town that has been familiar to alpinists since long ago as a base for climbing the Northern Alps. Guest Room Furusatomura Kogeikan is located in Omachi Onsenkyo northwest of the station, on the banks of the Kashima River, surrounded by white birch and beech forests. The name of our hotel as well as its accommodation stye have changed countless times since the Showa period (1926 to 1989). We have now opened this place as the new Furusatomura Kogeikan. We have a very deep emotional attachment to this place; it is an important place for us. We will do our best to help you to make Furusatomura Kogeikan feel like home and an important place for you.
Eat ingredients harvested here in Azumino in Shinshu, feel for yourself people’s lives and learn about the traditional culture of Shinano Omachi in Shinshu through experiences while feeling like a resident of Furusatomura. These are the mature trips proposed by Furusatomura Kogeikan. Please savor the nature and arts of Shinshu while living in our hotel like a hideaway that will make you forget the hustle and bustle of the big city.

The water in our hotel comes from the famous water of the Northern Alps. This is cool and clear spring water. It has been naturally filtered by the snow and rain that fell on the mountains of the Northern Alps penetrating underground over the years.
The bath is the perfect size for four or five men or women respectively. Although it is not a hot spring, it contains natural radium ore. Therefore, the water is also soft and very warm. Please spend a relaxing time soaking in the hot water at leisure. Bathing time: 4 p.m. to 11 p.m.

We are located in a place rich in nature. There are many insects at the turn of the seasons. We disinfect the entire building and exterminate the insects. However, some insects inevitably get into the rooms. We apologize for the inconvenience, but thank you for your understanding.
Omachi commands magnificent views from the city and is known as the gateway to the Nagano Prefecture side of the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route. There are many sightseeing spots perfect for family trips (e.g., Kurobe Dam and the Tateyama Kurobe Alpine Route) in the area around Furusatomura Kogeikan. It is a convenient location.
